Biography

Dawn McCooey has over 20 years experience in her career and business consulting practice. She obtained a Master of Arts degree in Leadership and Training at Royal Roads University where she is an Associate Faculty member.

Dawn managed her company of up to 32 employees and was voted "Best Boss in Victoria" by the Vancouver Island Business Examiner. She was also nominated for the YM/YWCA's "Women Of Distinction" awards in the Education Category.

Dawn is a keen sailor, currently sailing a J160 "La Sirena." Her extensive offshore sailing experience helped her to create this unique nautical theme for an important business subject. Take the helm, keep your good employees on board and have some fun on this journey. Bon Voyage!
