Biography

Doug Gray has given seminars for more than 250,000 people nationally and internationally, and is frequently interviewed by the media throughout North America as an expert on entrepreneurship. He has founded 12 successful businesses, of which 7 have been home-based.

Formerly a lawyer, he is the author of 18 best selling books, including The Complete Small Business Guide (with Diana Gray), Raising Money (with Brian Natress), and The Complete Canadian Franchise Guide (with Norman Friend.)

He writes numerous articles on small business for various publications including the Globe and Mail and Maclean's. He has a regular column in Profit Home Business and Opportunities Canada magazines, and writes a nationally syndicated weekly finance business newspaper columns.

Douglas is a member of the Microsoft Canada Small Business Advisory Council and a contributor of small business articles to the MS Small Business website and MS Money 99 CD-Rom.
